Why should I upload my works to the institutional repository?

The UPOU Institutional Repository archives the scholarly output of the entire UPOU community. It accepts pre- and post-refereed journal articles, conference proceedings, theses and dissertations, working papers, reports, and datasets. The repository is built on a software solution called DSpace, which is crawlable by Google Scholar and will help members of our academic community gain visibility for their work

The most exciting part of this is that our students' special project reports, theses, and dissertations can finally gain the visibility they deserve! The Repository helps establish UPOU as a digital-first research institution that generates and co-creates knowledge for the public good.

For more information on the value of institutional repositories, see this white paper by Abbie Starkman-Van Earwage at the University of Arizona, or check out the presentation made by Diego Maranan to the CAC in 2020 (log in using your UPOU email address).
